Ocean Meadow View
A comfortable coastal retreat with panoramic sea and meadow views
Ocean Meadow View is a recently redecorated annexe bungalow on Liskey Hill in Perranporth, offering far-reaching views across the surrounding meadowland towards the sea. Although the beach is approximately one mile away, the coastal setting feels much closer, with a pleasant 20-minute walk taking you down to Perranporth Beach.
Sleeping up to four guests, the accommodation provides a relaxed and comfortable base for a traditional seaside holiday. With two twin bedrooms, each offering a double and single bed for flexible sleeping arrangements, it is ideal for families aged 13+ or groups of friends.
The bungalow includes a cosy lounge/diner, fully equipped kitchen, shower room, free Wi-Fi and private parking. Perranporth’s cafés, pubs, surf schools and local amenities are all within easy reach, while the surrounding coastline and countryside offer plenty of opportunities for walking, surfing and exploring Cornwall.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach break, a surfing holiday or a base for discovering the Cornish coast, Ocean Meadow View offers a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

About The Accommodation

The property, a single story annexe with private entrance, has recently undergone a light refresh rather than a full renovation, giving it a renewed and well-kept feel while still retaining its original character. The bathroom has been redecorated, the kitchen has been refreshed, and all bedrooms have been redecorated and fitted with new carpeting. New furniture has been added throughout the bedrooms and living areas, alongside some existing pieces that have been retained and blended in. The lounge has also been redecorated and furnished to provide a comfortable space to relax.
There are no immediate neighbouring properties, other than Yvonne & Charles who live in the main residence. The annexe was originally built for elderly relatives. There is a link walkway between the two properties, ensuring privacy for both properties.
The Lounge - Diner

A separate lounge/diner, with seating for 4, smart TV, and large patio doors enjoying the panoramic scenes.
The Kitchen

A separate kitchen, with oven and grill, full size fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, slimline dishwasher and well equipped for self catering.
Please note, we do not provide a washing machine, but for your convenience there is a launderette in Perranporth should you require it.

Proximity to the beach...

The walk down to the beach is straightforward in distance (a mile) but worth being aware of in terms of route. A portion of the walk follows a main road, which can feel a little tricky at times due to traffic and the lack of continuous footpath in places, so extra care is advised, particularly for families.
There is, however, a useful shortcut through the local caravan park allowing walkers to join the pavement and avoid some of the busier roadside sections, making the journey feel safer and more comfortable.
For added convenience after a day on the sand, the local taxi service offers an easy and inexpensive option back up the hill (which of course can be used both ways!).
Overall, while the walk requires a bit of awareness in places, it remains a very achievable and popular route for guests, with the reward of reaching the beautiful coastline of Perranporth just a short journey away.
